MegaSceneryEarth - Optimum Graphics Settings

Note that the settings we give you below are for ensuring that MegaSceneryEarth (and any other photoscenery) displays at its best, clearest, crispest and highest resolution. All other variables are optional and relate to other aspects of your scenery e.g. 3D objects, terrain mesh etc. Please understand that as you turn up other settings, less processor resources are available to dedicate to photoscenery however with a powerful system this is not such a significant factor. Feel free to manipulate all other variables however all highlighted settings we give you in Magenta should remain constant.

Also - if you have a second physical drive on your PC, then it is actually a good idea to install your MegaSceneryEarth scenery onto that drive. You will actually get significantly better performance since any hard drive access for accessing scenery doesn't compete with hard drive access on your default drive.

1. Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator X

2. Select Settings

3. Select Customize

4. Select Graphics.

Target Frame Rate - Set To Between 30 and 45 (Do not set to unlimited)

Filtering - Set To Anisotropic

5. Select Scenery.

Level of detail radius - Set To Large

Texture Resolution - Set To 1 meter or lower.
